AFIX Kick-Off 2022 meeting

GHENT - For this Kick-off meeting 2022 the historical heart of Ghent was chosen. More than 25 participants were present in the Yalo Hotel centrally located just next to the St Bavo Cathedral. On the one hand, the meeting informs the various country managers within the AFIX Group about the latest technical developments and innovations, but on the other hand, financial and budgetary agreements are also made.

The meeting participants were presented with a busy programme. Since they came from various corners of Europe, English was used as the presenter language. Various experts were invited to the meeting to explain the 2021 financial results, the strategic vision and the 2022 budgeting. In addition, sales and marketing presentations were also given, together with technical updates on product innovations, certification, supply chain and production.
Group dynamics
The presentations were not just one-way traffic. There was also time to highlight the various achievements of the individual AFIX country divisions. In addition to the winner of the sales incentive, Award winners were also called up to receive their trophy for the best budgetary results. The atmospheric setting of the Yalo hotel created the opportunity for more informal contacts. During the evening programme there was time to enjoy the historical and cultural pearls of Ghent. Accompanied by city guides, the participant groups traversed the city centre and various towers of Ghent, before concluding the evening in the characteristic Brasserie Pakhuis.
The Kick-Off Meeting 2022 thus strengthens the mutual bond between the various AFIX country divisions, optimising the flow of information. AFIX customers can benefit in this way by seeing knowledge, skill and experience flow from group level to the various local entities.
