AFIX Group presents
strong growth figures in 2021

SEPTEMBER 2021

AALTER - AFIX Group, Belgian manufacturer of system scaffolding and provider of professional scaffolding services, is on track to achieve very good growth results in the first three quarters of this year. In the field of safe access solutions at height, AFIX Group's system scaffolds are leading. AFIXFAST system scaffolds can not only be found in new construction and renovation projects, but also for industrial and event-related applications. Both the branches in Belgium and the 7 branches outside Belgium achieved very good results in a difficult COVID period.

"These results confirm the right strategic choices and the ambitious plan to double the group turnover in the next 5 years" says CEO Chris Fleurbaey. The strategic plan, focusing on expertise and innovation, was kicked off in 2020 with a rebranding of the system scaffolding brand AFIXFAST. In addition to a new group logo and an updated corporate identity, the launch of an international website for scaffolding professionals followed.

Innovation and range development

Chris Fleurbaey clarifies that AFIX Group, on the one hand, invests in product development in order to meet the ever increasing demands of customers for innovative solutions, safety and cost efficiency.  To this end, the scaffolding offer was doubled. The AFIXFAST X52 product range will now also include an X37 metric scaffolding range as of 1 September 2021, which is perfectly tailored to the specific needs of the French market. This product expansion goes hand in hand with international certification and substantial investments in the production facilities in the Netherlands and Turkey.

Sharing scaffolding expertise

On the other hand, AFIX Group resolutely opts for customer involvement and customised solutions for its scaffolding customers. "Not only has the scaffolding rental fleet expanded, but also with scaffolding financing AFIX Group can now offer more solutions" says AFIX Sales Director Stephan Hillaert. The strategic plan lays the foundations for a new growth phase. This includes the acquisition of Grand Constructions UK and the recruitment of various colleagues who can share their professional scaffolding expertise with customers. "This is a constant process that allows us to take on larger customers and projects all the time," continues Chris Fleurbaey, CEO of AFIX Group.

"We are aiming for a clear positioning, an expansion of our range of services and products and an increase of our international reach. This will give AFIX Group employees tools to become even better partners with our customers. Keep an eye on AFIX Group, this is only the beginning", Stephan Hillaert winks.

Further growth ...

Since the company introduced its own multidirectional scaffolding system to the market in 2004, it has grown into a substantial growth company. Today, AFIX Group employs 150 people internationally, in Western Europe as well as in Morocco, Turkey and Mauritius.

During the Corona crisis, AFIX Group stepped up a gear. The result is tangible.  Never before have so many orders been recorded, both by customers in Belgium and by companies far beyond. As a result, the scaffolding manufacturer from Aalter has numerous vacancies again. "We are still looking for several new colleagues.  Not only in our sales department or in the scaffolding construction. We are also looking for talent at administrative level that likes to work in an international environment. concludes AFIX Group CEO Chris Fleurbaey.
