SCOPE OF USE OF RENOVATION SCAFFOLDING
Renovation includes repair and/or maintenance work to facades of existing buildings such as painting, sand blasting or plastering work. But insulation, cleaning, pointing, stucco or demolition work on the facade are also possible.
- Limited space
Renovation scaffolding does not take up much room because it is constructed using floor elements 0.73 m or 1.09 m and narrow outriggers 0.36 m. Due to the narrow base, renovation platforms must always be carefully anchored. - Limited load
Renovation scaffolding for work involving light loads (150 to 200 kg/m2) includes a work platform with ladder access every 2.00 m. Protect workers from the elements and protect passing traffic from falling dust particles by wrapping the renovation scaffolding in shrink-wrap. - Short-term renovation jobs
Repairs (windows, doors, roofing, etc.) to houses and structures, internal or external, freshening up (painting) or upgrading (pointing or plastering activities). Some renovation jobs are completed in stages. - Long-term repair jobs
Structural renovation jobs tackle the building's appearance, age and wear and tear, on e.g. churches, monuments, residential and apartment buildings.
