New SPL steel decks for system scaffolding
AALTER - AFIX Group expands its range of high quality steel AFIXFAST X52 scaffolding with the AFIXFAST X37 metric range including new SPL scaffolding decks.
AFIXFAST X37 metric scaffolding range
The AFIXFAST X37 metric scaffolding range in standard steel completes the high quality AFIXFAST X52 series with traditional dimensions. The AFIXFAST X37 multidirectional scaffolds contain scaffolding standards in steel with an increased yield strength of at least 320 N/mm2, a tube wall thickness of 3.2 mm and a rosette thickness of 10 mm. All components including beams, diagonals and associated scaffolding accessories comply with the applicable EN standards.
New SPL steel scaffold decks
From 2023 onwards, a wide range of steel scaffold decks will also be available in the AFIXFAST range. In addition to the existing SP scaffolding decks made of high-performance steel, AFIX Group launches SPL scaffolding decks and planks made of profiled steel. These scaffold decks with a profile height of 68 mm are easy to handle, have a reduced weight and contain replaceable lightweight handle bars. These SPL floors are available in 30 and 36 cm widths in metric and traditional sizes. SPL profiled steel decks have a non-slip surface and includes replaceable end caps with heavy duty hooks.
Like all other scaffolding materials in the AFIXFAST system, both SP and SPL scaffolding decks are compatible and exchangeable. The R&D team has also developed extendable steel decks and toeboards. "With this, Afix Group proves to be an innovative European manufacturer at the forefront of developing safe scaffolding materials that improve productivity," according to CTO Tom Van Herbruggen.
